I am a husband, father and software developer based in the Heartland. This site serves as a home base for information related to both my personal and professional life. I have been lucky enough over the past five years to be able to combine two things that I really love doing: Programming and Event / Project Management. Almost everyone that owns a Nissan "Z" and lives in the center 1/3 of the country has either attended or plans on taking part in the annual event known as the Branson Z Fest. What most of them don't know is that almost the entire event backend is built on a PHP and FileMaker platform. From the front end data collection via a PHP based web site through ID creation and report generation, FM and PHP does the heavy lifting for the entire event.
